It’s not just the Hotel and Property industry that are using virtual tours effectively. NASA has a high resolution Panoramic Camera (PanCam) mounted on the Mars Exploration Rover which Scientists use to scan the Mars horizon for “landforms that may indicate a past history of water.” Using high resolution panoramic images allows NASA to create detailed maps and highlight landing spots and interesting geological features for further study.
